Kepstan PEKK polymer is designed for demanding applications:
*Extremely high temperature resistance (long-term use temperature up to 250-260°C)
*Excellent mechanical properties: tensile strength, impact resistance
*Innate excellent FST (flame retardant, low smoke, low toxicity) performance·excellent chemical resistance
*Maintain excellent electrical properties (insulation) at room temperature and high temperature
*Excellent barrier properties (CO2, H2S, etc.)
*Resistant to friction and wear
Kepstein PEKK powder coatings can be applied in an amorphous state to maintain their original state, or they can be annealed to a semi-crystalline state.Amorphous Kepstein PEKK coatings have better flexibility and stronger adhesion, especially for components that need to withstand high-intensity thermal cycling.Semi-crystalline coatings have better high temperature resistance, chemical resistance and wear resistance.
